The General Headquarters of the Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI) warned the Iraqis that situation in Iraq has become hell because of failed performance of the incumbent government due to preoccupation of officials with corruption issues.

HEYET Net – It had revealed the outbreak of cholera in a number of Iraqi governorates such as Misan, Babylon. Affected children forced to the recent declaration of a state of emergency and to be considered a disaster area.

The statement issued by AMSI criticized the negligence and failure to give seriousness to the event. There was unanimity that the current government bears full responsibility because of neglect of the health sector and its inability to provide minimum required services.

The Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq (AMSI) showed that the blackout included preventing the media in the province of Babylon to visit hospitals such as Marjan and the Hashemite Hospital to follow up the crisis and prevented employees from Babylon health centre to give any information about injured people in the hospitals.

The sources blamed health centre in the provinces of Babylon, Miysan and the Ministry of Health to conceal the truth of information on the number of deaths and injuries, although rumors indicate the presence of 400 cases and 20 deaths, without much more real numbers.
